Ask a question

Conversation-piece geek earrings are made of recycled vintage domino capacitors by El-Menco (made in USA).

They are petite, measuring about 5/8ths inch tall (1.5 cm) with silver plated posts glued to the back.

We are often asked at craft shows if we've painted the dots...but this is the way they were originally made, to indicate capacitance.

Will come in a Kraft jewelry box, suitable for gift giving.

Frequently asked questions about ArtsyClay

Your polymer clay creations should last for many years with proper care and gentle handling.
While not as fragile as glass, polymer clay can chip or break if dropped on a hard surface like a hardwood floor or dresser. Clay scratches and dents easily; keep away from sharp objects.
When packing for travel or storage, wrap in bubble wrap or a soft towel to protect from the weight of other items.
Remove pins from clothing before putting in the washing machine.
Because clay looks like it's edible, it can become “doggie treats.” Keep out of reach of pets and small children.
Clean with mild soap and water, dry with a soft towel.
Keep away from hot areas above 300 degrees i.e. woodstove or radiator.
Follow these simple care tips and enjoy!
