At 2 1/4"high and with a circumference 3," this amazing vintage 1930's drum bank depicts patriotic images utilizing children as the "models" (ok, there's a doggy in there, too).

In FANTASTIC CONDITION for its age (and it works! There is a slot at the top and any small key, carefully inserted, works on the bottom to retrieve your pennies, dimes and whatevers), the colors are still full of vibrancy, and most of the scuffing is on the lower 1/4" (the blue 1/4") at the tin's bottom: the figures of children marching are virtually untouched.

Wow, patriotism! Boys march with (I would assume "play") rifles on their shoulders. Girls salute (while wearing some kind of strange uniform). Dogs race around.

There is litho decoration (figures, background, trees, etc.) all around this remarkable mid century wonder.

Really a tremendous collector's item, but - it is in great shape - why not use it for its original intention: a colorful, story-telling bank!
