This is an old copy of "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp", published by M.A. Donohue & Co. Chicago and it is part of the "Cinderella Series". There is no copyright date that I can find, but I believe this book is from the early 1900s or even the late 1800s. This book contains the story of Aladdin, but also two others, "The Adventures of Dollikins" and "The Tent on the Shore".

The front cover has a lithographic print that is bright and vibrant and has some gilting. The spine has a reddish buckram binding. The pages are a heavy manilla paper like coloring book pages with lots of black and white illustrations. The other two stories have engraving-like illustrations. The back has a drawing of a sweet Victorian girl reading a book.

The condition of the book is good, but it has a few issues. The cover is brittle and chipping. The front end paper is loose from hard cover and it is torn right along the length of the spine (see photo 4). The back cover has some chippy paper just along the edges and there is a water stain at the very bottom. The water stain is only on the back cover and does not occur on the pages.

The inner pages are tight, secure, and in good condition and is clean from any stray marks.

Measures 9 7/8" tall by 7 5/8" wide.
