Welcome friends and thank you for stopping by. Today we have a set of pumpkins on a piece of barnboard, making it a great shelf sitter. This piece measures 11.5" long by 9.5" tall with stem and 1.25" wide.

The pumpkins were made from osnaburg fabric, stuffed and then hand stitched to sculpt. Thus giving the pumpkins some depth and quilted look. I then coffee stain the pumpkins and baked. After dried I colorwashed in burnt orange and baked, sanded and them coffee stained again. The stems are pieces of sticks. I surround the stem with some spanish moss, some raffia was tied and knotted around the stem. Then ripped a piece of green homespun and tied that also. I added some mini springs as tendrils. Next I had a piece of barnboard and glued some spanish moss to the top , added the pumpkins staggarding them. I made a warm and natural bat. Colored washed the bat black and rubbed with cinnamon. Glued the bat to front of the pumpkins. Hung an aged tag with "Harvest Thyme" I think this turned out so cute.

This piece was designed and made by hand, by me.
