Xochiquetzal, her name means “Precious Feather Flower” the beautiful patron of sexual love, and household arts, she cared for wild animals, flowers and plants. Xochiquetzal presided over birth and pregnant women asked for her protection, she was considered a compassionate mother. She is adorned with beads, charms, a heart and a small key symbolic of healing. She is swaddled with colorful fabric and fibers, she holds a small moon symbolic of protection. Wrapped with art yarn, her sweet face was handcrafted with polymer clay.
