In the past, used alongside a nutcracker, nut picks were used as a more graceful way to remove nuts from their shells. This vintage set of five matching nut picks are accented with the profile of a Roman gladiator or centurion soldier. While unmarked, silverplate companies like Rogers and International Silver had pieces like these, and the style was called "Medallion". The nut picks are engraved "JMH" on the back, and tracing through family history, they date back to the mid 1800s. The nut picks measure approx. 5 1/4" long, and were used in their time, so there is some silver loss. However, they are still lovely as you can see in the photos, and they have plenty of life left in them. Great for a den or study.

The Silver Plated Nut Picks will be shipped in a sturdy box via Priority Mail.

International orders may be subject to customs fees.

All sales are final. Many thanks in advance!
