I've combined ivory and green art glass, to make this adorable pair of fused glass earrings. The little rectangles are attached to sterling silver kidney wires. The length is about 1 1/2" from the very top of the wire and 3/8" wide.

Each piece of my jewelry is personally handmade, using several layers of colorful art and dichroic glass. These layers are cut and fused together at temperatures of around 1500 degrees. Depending on the design, most pieces will go back into the kiln 2-4 times each. The glass is also annealed in the kiln, at a lower temperature for strength and durability. Once I am satisfied with the results, they are then finished into unique pieces of wearable art. You’ll be sure to receive many compliments, wearing one of these striking pieces.

Dichroic glass was originally developed for applications in the laser industry several decades ago and later discovered by the art glass community. The colors in this brilliant glass are more spectacular, than a photo can show.
