Highlights
Natural textured rubber elastic tape for swimsuits. Silicone-coated. Resistant to heat, chlorine and salt water. High quality European ribbed rubber elastic.
Rubber tape elastic is excellent for projects such as swimwear, leggings, dance, yoga and other fitness clothing, as it provides for a slimmer seam yet strong elasticity and has no shrinkage. This elastic does not absorb water so allows the garment to dry quicker than with normal knit elastic. Can be applied in the exact same way as knit elastics.
The engineered ribbed surface provides superior sewing tension control and less friction. The textured surface makes the tape less slippery when sewing. The function is the same as for the flat rubber tape. This product is 100% silicone-coated, preventing the tape from sticking together without the use of talc powder that can get all over your hands and fabric and possibly gum up your machine.
