Made in Scotland
1930's -1940's

A great tie in a great fabric. A little tricky to date, probably 30's, but maybe late 20's - early 40's.
Munrospun was known for their woolen knits and tweeds, located 2 miles NE of Edinburgh center on Restalrig Drive. They made clothing as well as fabrics for the trades. The most interesting feature of this tie is the extremely narrow center, just under 3/4" of an inch, a dramatic taper considering the width of the ends.

3 3/8" wide x 51" long. Unlined. Rolled and stitched ends.

Very good condition showing little if any wear. Images 2 & 5 are best rep for color.

vintage 1930's - 1940's Men's woolen neck tie. Harlequin pattern Tweed. Scotland
