Vintage Coffin-Redington castor oil bottle from San Francisco. Good graphics on the label.
5 3/4 inches high, 2 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep with some product still in the bottle.

I believe this bottle dates to the 1940's. When I was a little girl, my mother would give us a generous dose of castor oil daily...yuck!! So I'm not going to try this or even smell it. But I do love the label which claims," Odorless-Tasteless (right!). Dose: Children, one to two teaspoonfuls. Adults, one to two tablespoons. Put up by Coffin-Redington Company, Wholesale Druggists, San Francisco."

Coffin-Redington was in San Francisco in 1908. They were the largest wholesale drug company on the Pacific coast. Eventually they moved within San Francisco in 1937 to the corner of Folsom and Beale St.. That building was converted in 1967 to 53 "luxurious lofts." The building is at the corner of 301 Folsom and 300 Beale St., San Francisco.

The bottle will be carefully wrapped and shipped USPS Priority Flat Rate. NOTE NEW SHIPPING RATE.
