This is a shabby 'suitcase.' It's made from a recycled coffee bean bag. It's got a heavy cotton canvas lining with divided pockets in the lining. Because the rope handles go all the way around this bag, it can really haul! The old dowel handles have been sanded and holes drilled in them for the ropes to go through.

The bag is decorated with a vintage key and porcelain key hole (I know there's a proper name for that-but I don't know what it is!) ,old hinges and an old spoon. Other shabby details with hand sewing have been added...

Each bag is unique because I love to work that way.

This bag was in the Spring 2013 issue of Haute Handbags magazine! Woohoo!
