Here is yet another bolt of ribbon from the estate of the Victorian seamstress. This sheer rusty orange and gold ribbon is indescribable, and the bolt still has the original Marshall Field tag. It was in the same estate as that of the French ribbon, but is labeled 10 yards, not 9 metres. It is just about 7 yards, actually it is longer, but there is a seam just inside of the seven yard mark, and it is 7/8" wide. Some of the paper has been removed from the roll. Other rolls from this estate were made in the 1920's and earlier, and were labeled either as rayon or silk, although there is no indication of what this ribbon is composed.
I have not laundered or altered this roll in any way. Please email me with any questions before you buy. Shipping is free, this is a final sale.
I do not cut samples. I am also posting 5 1/3 yard of the same ribbon, and 2 yards of identical ribbon approximately 3/8" wide. I will discount if purchasing all the ribbon. I will cut for $29/yd.
