These handcrafted keys are all handmade from paper embedded with seeds. Each contains a mix of flower seeds right inside - plant them and grow! Love is the key -- let is blossom and watch it grow!

The seed paper keys make a charming event addition that keeps on giving. Daisies, poppies, snapdragons, marigolds, zinnia, cosmos and other pretty garden flowers await guests who plant their keys. An earth-friendly alternative to metal, wood, and plastic. The paper is all 100% recycled and biodegradable. As the seeds grow, the paper decomposes naturally.

Add the pretty tags to your order using the drop down menu. They can be personalized with up to 4 lines -- 2 on the front and 2 on the back -- as shown. At checkout, after you add the item to the cart and go to checkout - there is a text box you can type in. That's the place to type in what you'd like printed.

Yes! We can customize the cards to fit any type of occasion and can adjust the wording as needed. We can also print the cards in custom colors, including changing the color of the hearts to match your event colors. For that, just choose "custom colors" for the tags. Leave a note at checkout to specify colors and wording.

Do you prefer to use the tags as place cards instead? Not a problem -- we can leave the bottom blank so you can hand write in a name. Just order "leave blank." We can print your guest names directly on the tags too. For that, choose "guest list" and be sure to email us your guest list at least 3 weeks prior to the event. Be aware you may incur a rush fee if you submit your guest list late.

Other colors are available by request, too. We make each batch of paper new and fresh to order, so let us know what type of color you'd like and we'll make them that way! The main picture shows a black key.

{ TAGS }
Tags do not come hole punched. We recognize people tie them together with all sorts of different materials of varying thickness. A standard single shot hole punch can be used to make the holes. You can find them at office supply stores in a variety of widths. Or, punch them with any sharp needle-like object.

{ PLANTING SEEDS }
We make all of our seed paper on a made-to-order basis to ensure freshness. The seeds included in the paper are a mix of annuals and perennials that include poppies, shasta daisies, snapdragons, pink cosmos, zinnia, cornflowers, dianthus, coreopsis, marigolds, columbine, and more. They are a mix of annuals, for first year color, and perennials for blooms in the years to follow. Planting instructions are included. You'll need to let me know if you need a separate set of planting instructions for each favor. I can send you a PDF of several to a sheet so you can print out as many as you need. Plant as you would other seeds. Keep the paper dry and out of direct sunlight until you're ready to plant it.
