Pyrote is death to insects!

So proclaims this bottle of Mechling Brothers Pyrote insect killer. Dating from the 1930s, who knows what the active ingredient was in Pyrote - but according to the packaging, it was double-acting, non-poisonous, concentrated, and safe for humans and animals. Wow!

As you can see, the bottle is in its original box marked with a patent of 1933. I love the graphics - a little girl spraying the flowers in the year with her trusty dog beside her. Heavens knows what they were inhaling! The top flap of the box is loose, but the rest it intact and bright! The glass bottle as well is complete and undamaged - and I doubt it was ever opened.

Great collectible or display item for the gardener, advertising enthusiast, or bottle collector.

Measures 4 1/2" tall, and 1" x 1 3/4" at the base.
