This is an actual illustrated page from a vintage 1954 book, "The Christmas Book" by the Child Study Association/Whitman. The illustrator is Roberta Paflin. (The book was falling apart, had been scribbled on, was missing pages, and had been discarded, but I have carefully preserved some of the attractive illustrations.)

A young family is gathered around a Christmas tree on Christmas morning. Mom and Dad smile down at the excited children.

Size: Page is approximately 10-1/8 x 7-1/8 inches.

Condition: Noticeable wear: small rips at edges; heavy age-tanning to inexpensive paper. The reverse is part of the table of contents.

This appealing, nostalgic image would look great framed for Christmas decor! Also useful for collage, scrapbook, or other projects.
