Vintage Upholstery Pins, Manufactured during Worlld War II by the Defender Company. These are seriously heavy duty pins, almost nails, 2 inches long. There is a disclaimer in the box (third photo, it has a tear on one side) about their apparently using inferior materials due to the war effort, but they look like they are holding up pretty well at 70 years. They are not recommended for use with chiffon cause they are STURDY. How many? I don't know, the box is half a pound of these beauties with no quanity given. The top is held on with two smaller pins, you can see one of them sticking out in first photo.
