Fantasy and Science Fiction themes are intermingled in this recent book filled with
unusual pages.
With all the eccentricities modern graphic design allows us, both in
regard to techniques as to inpirations, why shouldn't we delight the mind as well as
the eye?

Two parts are distinct and yet linked. One lets us discover oneiric instruments,
dissected, photographed, analysed and shared.
The other part contains a few Fables, written by Philippe Fassier, about a past
future and with delightful, entertaining morals.
With the oneiric instruments, the emphasis is on the illustrations, whether graphite
or photographs, the eye wanders more that it reads.
The Fables, in verse and spirit, carefully calligraphed, illustrated with passion,
carry a few rhymes, to be savoured from the tip of our eyelashes to our heart.
The challenge of this book is an artistic and graphic one before all.
Here, the chronological laws have been abolished.
As oneiric painter Thierry Cardinet and Sci-Fi Illustrator Manchu, who both wrote
the preface, specify:
"... you will be able to glimpse the grace behind the fantasy, the tenderness behind
the humour... and poetry on every level".
