"When you are imagining, you might as well imagine something worthwhile." - Lucy Maud Montgomery, from Anne of Green Gables

Did you know I'm a painter? I also just happen to adore words. Love them. Love the way they take you places, and the way they reveal shared thoughts. No, I don't write, only borrow words, but I do paint. And I think, no I know, that art can have this same effect. It take you places, reveals a shared intimacy.

So, I painted you a little picture and borrowed a few words from L.M. Montgomery to spur on your imagination. Hope you enjoy!

The piece is painted on a 9" x 9" wooden panel. The back frame is about an inch and a half in depth, and it allows the piece to either stand or hang.
