Spun with lots of love and brownie blessings!

Brownies are hearth spirits who happily attend to your housework if rewarded with a dish of porridge or some cream. Do not use this yarn to knit a garment for one, however, unless you want him to run away!

I hand-blended natural brown Romney lamb locks with hand dyed Columbia, Blue Faced Leceister and Targhee hand dyed with garden mint and mushrooms, Mohair locks, a bit of Alpaca and silk, and a touch of coppery green sparkle. Very earthy and rustic—yet oh, so soft and luxurious!

This yarn would make a gorgeous trim for a knitted garment or accessory, or an extra special finishing touch to a crafting project. Other possible uses include gift wrap ties, holiday decorations such as tree trimming, hair ornaments, scrap booking, or jewelry embellishment. Let your imagination run free!

I spin all of my yarns on my vintage Ashford Traditional spinning wheel (Wheelamina Ashford) in a no-smoking but pet friendly household. The twist is set with my own special wool wash and a lavender rinse.

This yarn is thick and thin, 48 yards with 5-9 wpi and a weight of 3 oz. Suggested needle size 15-17. Please hand wash in cool water with a wool wash only!

All of my yarns are spun in a smoke-free but pet-friendly and peaceful, loving household on either my vintage Ashford Traditional or my handcrafted Wee Wheel, finished in Eucalan wool wash, and air dried without weights. Please wash in cold water with a gentle wool wash only!
