Pictured is a single Forget Me Not flower surrounded with cation "Forget Me Not" - Regarded as an emblem of loving remembrance, faithful love, constancy and undying hope. Remember me always.

During the Victorian era, flowers were a means of communication in which various flowers and floral arrangements were used to send coded messages, allowing individuals to express feelings which otherwise could not be spoken. The little blue flower of the forget-me-not was synonymous with true love.

I make this charm of Fine Silver using a vintage Victorian Wax Seal Wheel, circa early 1800's, from London England. The charm is a little under 1/2 inch across, roughly the size of a dime and has been given an antique patina to bring out all the details. The charm is attached to an unsoldered 5mm sterling silver jump ring, ready for you to slide onto your favorite necklace or select one from my shop in the "Add a Gemstone or Chain" section here: Each charm is custom made to order, so they may vary a tiny bit in dimension. They are antiqued and hand rubbed, which gives them a vintage look - the perfect little conversation piece! Create your own symbolic necklace by stacking other charms alongside this one!

Your Wax Seal Jewelry comes beautifully presented complete with the meaning and origins behind your charm or medallion and care instructions.
