This was a fun exercise in playing with color and the conflict between order & chaos. The quilt is made up of 100 four-inch squares -- each a small crazy quilt. But then the order comes in with the ten neat rows and columns of squares. The 36 squares on the perimeter are made up of all yellow fabrics. Moving inward, the next round of squares are each a mix of yellow & orange fabrics, then all orange fabrics, then a mix of orange and red fabrics and finally the inner-most squares are made from all red fabrics. It measures 40" square and was featured in Quilters Newsletter Presents Best Scrap Quilts -- April 2014.

This quilt is included in five Etsy treasuries:

"Quilts! Quasars?!"

"Fire and Ice"

"Fabulous Quilts for Fall"

"Quilts for Autumn"

"More Fab Fiber"
