Through the history of civilization, man has long attributed certain properties to salt- in many religions around the world it is used as a purifyer, from wedding ceremonies in India, holy water additives in Roman Catholic ritual and the Japanese Shinto custom of placing a small dish of salt by a shop's door to repel evil spirits and attract patrons.

An organic shape cut from reclaimed antique tin is matched with a coordinating patina metal shape and re-worked patina metal circles from missficklemedia. Handmade ceramic beads by fellow Etsian potterygirl1 are the perfect contrast to the subtle facets of the creamy coloured Czech glass. Tiny faceted rounds of angelite crystal pick up the blue in the tin paint.

3.25 inches in drop from the top of the silver-plated ear hooks.
