This listing is for a pack of 10 organic bay leaves (laurus nobilis) of assorted size (most are between 3-5"). Some natural cracks and holes are to be expected in dried leaves. See the photos for an example of our quality standard. We will do our best to make sure you get a nice selection of varying sizes and leaves that are intact enough to write on. These leaves have a pleasant green smell, and were sustainably sourced from fair-trade farmers in the Mediterranean.

Bay leaves are excellent for writing on! You can use them for affirmations and prayers, in addition to cleansing negative energy. Simply write your intention on the leaf, then burn or bury it to release your intention back into the universe. For affirmations, you can also save each written leaf in a jar to amass a store of positive energy and thoughts you can look to when you start feeling sad or burdened. These leaves can also be used for money-drawing-- write your wish, desired salary, or budget goals on a leaf, then keep it tucked in your wallet. Additionally, bay leaves make excellent general offerings to most forest spirits and deities, and the Tree of Life.
