The Pink House is one of my Historic Savannah Quilt Squares - a collection of Historic Savannah buildings in paper-foundation pieced 12” blocks. Combine to make an entire quilt!
The Pink House was built in 1771. It has served as the first bank in Georgia, military headquarters in the Civil War, and a tea room. It now houses a restaurant serving Low Country cuisine. The unique pink color of the house supposedly resulted when the red bricks (made by enslaved people) bled through the white stucco covering them.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a listing for the pattern, not completed quilt. The pattern is for ONE block, not the entire Savannah Quilt.

I love this pattern. I had to repurchase it as I lost everything on my hard drive. I was glad to pay for it twice because I love it so much.
I made this book bag for my niece's 11th birthday. Turned out so cute! I jazzed up the outside with ribbon accent and "groovy" flowers. I guess tie-dye and 70s style is back in style.
This pattern was extremely easy to follow! The pictures are great and the explanations are very helpful! Very impressed with this. I have almost finished my purse. The part that takes the longest is getting everything cut out and interfaced. The rest went very quickly!
This pattern turned out great! It took me a little time & a message to the seller to figure out one of the steps but all in all it was pretty easy to assemble. I will make more for myself and for gifts. :)
