Her name means rose...like the large one she picked from her grandmother's garden on the Day of the Dead.

This is an ORIGINAL Mixed Media Painting on 5 x 7 inch (approx. 12.5 x 17.5 cm) back stapled canvas. It was first covered in patterned papers, then painted over with a base color. I, then, used acrylics, prismacolor pencil, oil pastels and ink to create this beautiful girl. Her gorgeous flower was applied with gel medium and finishes off her festive Dia de los Muertos look perfectly.

It is finished around the edges, so it may be displayed without a frame...perhaps leaned up on a shelf or showcased on a mini easel. She can certainly be framed, if desired.

The artwork is signed on the back.

Her friend "Dulce", with her in the last photo, has already found a home.

Thank you for your visit....and remember to tell your cherished ones you love them today :)
