From the Golden Age of television...

This is a very cool high frequency television channel tuner made by Mallory, circa 1950's. Housed with a rich brown bakelite case, it features a great gold medallion / crest Mallory logo, burgundy bakelite knobs with gold accents and a great 50's era design.

It fires up, the vacuum tubes light up, but beyond that I'm not sure of its functionality. Overall it's in wonderful vintage condition with some normal wear (no cracks or chips however). The fiberboard backplate is missing and the plug inside cover is missing showing internal prongs exposed, so be mindful of that. Outside of that, this piece would fit in perfectly to any vintage tv or radio collection, or just as a great display piece on a shelf. Pop it on the ol' Philco and tune into some classic TV. ...Like the Dike Van Dyke Show (now back on TVLand - woohoo!)

Measures 8 3/4"l x 7"w x 6 3/4"h
Paper label on bottom with schematics and info. Stamped #597188, Part # C-646058
