Used "safety" razor blades used to be dropped in a vessel for safety. This white ceramic container is decorated with a shaving man. The stamp on the bottom reads "the California ____ Clem_____ and has two women. Wish I knew more about California pottery.

The vessel is almost 4 inches tall, 3.5 inches across at the base and about 2.5 across the top.

There is a chip on the base and can be seen in the fourth picture. There is also a small round chip near the part in the shavers hair - picture three shows it most clearly. It has some crazing in the glaze typical in a piece of pottery this old.
