Based on research of hundreds of photos, we are able to provide you with a historically accurate sash that combines 18 stars and the text VOTES FOR WOMEN. The stars were frequently used by American suffragettes on buttons, on flags, and on their sashes.
• 4 VOTES FOR WOMEN Hand Signs: 9 inches by 6 inches. Printed on heavy, glossy stock in an authentic 1900s font.
A bit of history:
Suffragist Sash and Hand Sign are based on research into the American suffrage movement of the early 1900s that led to the passage of the 19th Amendment.
GOLD SATIN SASH with 18 stars and the words VOTES FOR WOMEN in black. Examination of photographs and government archive documents shows that authentic sashes, ribbons, and flags, frequently showed 18 stars. When accompanied by the word VOTES FOR WOMEN, these items promoted the passage of the 19th Amendment. Sashes, ribbons and badges were worn by the millions of women who marched, organized, and protested to secure the right to vote.

We now have the items displayed in her room. The two information cards were such an awesome addition and I love that this set even exists! What an amazing way to instill pride into our young girls and to also show them how just over 100 years ago, we didn’t have the right to have our voices heard. I think it’s also a great reminder that any progress we make is only because others fought to better our society! If you are questioning buying from this seller, just do it!! You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderfully made- the sash sits well on your body. The pin looked legit and the sign is just big enough to spread the message yet small enough to carry throughout the day. ✨I got many compliments!

Very nice items. The Rosie The Riveter pin is exquisite. Most sellers charge 20 bucks just for the pin, but with this seller I hot the pin, the polka dot scarf AND a name patch! It was sent quickly. Very sweet ladies run this business, check them out!
