Sara Teasedale Doll Miniature

Sara Teasdale was born on August 8, 1884, and she suffered from poor health for most of her life,
Teasdale's first poem was published in Reedy's Mirror, a local newspaper, in 1907. Her first collection of poems, Sonnets to Duse and Other Poems, was published that same year.
Teasdale's second collection of poems, Helen of Troy and Other Poems, was published in 1911and was well received by critics.Teasdale's third poetry collection, Rivers to the Sea, was published in 1915 and was a best seller, being reprinted several times.

Little Sara Teasedale is created in a rosy plum wool coat with black fur wrap and black buttons. Her detailed face is painted by hand, and she even wears a tiny pair of silver wire spectacles!
For the added touch, she hold a copy of one of her works, and wears a stylish black hat accented with pink satin bow.

My Sara Teasedale art doll is a tiny and collectible 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm) and is unique created from wire, clay, paint, and wood.
