This little beauty is a blue glass jar or dish with lid from the 1800s in very good condition. Small chip on inside edge of lid. It measures 6 1/4" to the top of the lid handle, marked with a "2" on the bottom. Ruffled edge around the top of the jar, with applied vines to the jar sides, and a fancy fan handle on the lid. Really a very nice eye catcher, not sure of its original use, but it looks good on a dresser or in a cabinet. Enjoy!
