This combination wall shelf and coat hanger is crafted using 100 year old old-growth fir, sanded and hand rubbed with oil until it glows and 100 year old spikes individually forged by some unknown blacksmith. Back in the day, these 4" spikes were used to fasten true 2" by true 12" joists to the beams below in the old Dodo Mortuary building in Hilo, Hawaii. The wood has rust stained nail holes, termite trails and the original band sawn edges.

Use the shelf by itself or combine it with one of my window mirrors for a very old, rustic, yet elegant look.

Size: 24" x 7" x 6" deep
