This triple decker food carrier from the 60's has the best illustration wrapped around the sides. The illustration includes hip people doing outdoor activities: surfing, bicycling, scuba diving, boating, skiing, in classic cars, and picnic-ing on the beach. The picnic carrier has seen better days - it has some dents, scratches and surface wear, rust spots, and the name "MOORE" was scratched into the top. Despite the condition, it is a fun piece for display and is still usable. Each section fits tightly together to keep foods fresh. The convenient carrying handle folds easily out of the way.

Deck #1 and #3...For pies, sandwiches, cookies, hot and cold side dishes
Deck #2...For big cakes or hot dishes. As an extra feature, the base makes a handy serving tray.

When the pieces are all assembled, the stack measures 10" tall and 12 1/2" diameter. The lid measures 11" diameter by 2" tall. The cake cover (with the floral design) measures 11 1/2" diameter and 5" tall. The cake platter measures 12 1/2" diameter. The bottom tin measures 12 1/2" diameter and 2 1/2" tall.

A really fun mid-century entertaining set!
