Fairy doors are portals to the realm of the wee folk (fairies, gnomes, pixies and such)~ and when placed in your home, a fairy door becomes a place where they may enter bringing good luck and mischief with them! The doors can only be opened by the wee folk... although every wondering child will try!

♥♥ This listing is for the Lily Cottage Fairy Door pictured. It is 1" thick and stands approx. 4" tall. ♥♥

♥Rowan Tree Fairy Doors are made of sustainably harvested (in Northern Ontario) pine.
Each is one of a kind, sanded smooth, burned, coloured with non-toxic dyes and sealed with our own natural beeswax polish.
Not intended for outdoor use. (If you would like to put your door outside, leave me a note and I will finish it with a non-toxic, watr based outdoor sealant).

Place against any wall, door, baseboard... and let the magic (of imagination!) take flight. Each door will stand on its own, or you can choose to mount it more permanently (less likely to walk away in small hands!).

The doors can stand up to gentle play, but they are not recommended for children under 3.

Shipping reflects the actual rates of Canada Post.
Your door is ready to ship, and will ship within 3 business days. Small Packet (Air) generally takes 7-10 businesss days to arrive in the USA or overseas.

••Listing is for the door only. ••

Sizes are described for each item. If you are purchasing for a specific use or space, please be sure to measure before ordering. As each silk piece is dyed custom for you, returns and exchanges are not generally made for pieces that are their described dimensions.
Every silk item will arrive with a postcard bearing detailed information about the item and its care. Generally, treat silk like your own hair (a protein fiber)~ wash gently in warm to cool water with a gentle shampoo or dish soap and hang to dry. Avoid laundry detergent. Direct sunlight (ie on a clothesline) can quickly damage silk. Tumble dry low for a brief time, best of all~ press with a warm iron while damp.
