@Jumblelaya: everybody loves a great vintage peacoat. And this one's got so many charming details to recommend it.

The Details.

••Designer label: only has its old care label, but it's definitely not a recent version
••Fabric: feels like a soft wool with soft gold acetate lining and real wood toggle buttons
••Color: camel brown
••Gentle A-line shape with welt seaming, those adorable wood buttons to close and smaller versions on each cuff, and two large front pockets
••Extra button is still attached inside, in case one gets lost
••Matching flannel of navy, red, and camel plaid lines the detachable hood
••Display or inspiration objects such as jewelry, belts, etc. are not included unless specified

The Measurements.

About a modern M to L. Please remember to leave room for the kind of clothes you plan to wear under it.
Bust (underarm to underarm measured flat, then doubled): 42".
Waist: unfitted/42".
Hips: to 48".
Shoulder span: about 16".
Sleeves, shoulder to cuff: 23".
Center of back collar to hem: 32 1/2".

Note: these are the measurements of the garment itself.
Please allow adequate "wiggle room" for proper fit -- at least an inch is recommended.

The Condition.

This vintage coat is in Very Good shape. It doesn't have any stains, holes, or other blatant flaws, just some overall vintage-y wear to the fabric itself that doesn't attract much notice.
