Offering a Homer Laughlin OvenServe rimmed pottery bowl--in a beautiful pastel pink. Intended as a sauce/fruit dish, this bowl would also make a wonderful serving piece (think dips, salsas, nuts, chutney!) while its size and durability make it equally excellent for sous chef duty in the kitchen.

Dimensions: Bowl is about 1.5 inches high and 5.5 inches across.

OvenServe features an embossed flower pattern on the outside with vertical ridging below the lip. With production starting in 1933, OvenServe was HL's first kitchenware line, according to my Harvey Duke reference book

Bowl is marked on the bottom with Genuine OvenServe Ware HL logo U.S.A .

This piece is in very good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, flea bites or discoloration.

Oven Serve was also produced by Taylor Smith & Taylor. See a pair of handled bowls in the last photo here and all my OvenServe pieces here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/SentimentalFavorites/search?search_query=oven+serve&order=date_desc&view_type=gallery&ref=shop_search

I have more unlisted Oven Serve (other pieces, colors) by both Homer Laughlin & TST. Contact me for details. Always happy to combine items into one package for best shipping value!
