Mr and Mrs. eight piece silverware set. Wedding reception table setting for the newlyweds.

Proposal pattern made it's debut in 1954.

*Please review the complete listing and photos before purchasing. It's long but contains important information. It's worth your time to be certain you will be 110% happy with this set.*

Simple elegant pattern that is smooth to hold in your hand. Small closed tulip looking flower and leaf border the edge.

Proposal is not an easily found pattern especially with the long handled viande/grille style forks.

-Set consists of eight (8) vintage silver plated utensils in all.

-Eight (8 pieces hand stamped by hammering in a block style font.

Two salad forks one Mr. and one Mrs. measuring 6.50" tall
Two grille/viande forks one Mr. and one Mrs.measuring 7.75" tall
Two teaspoons one Mr. and one Mrs.measuring 6.1/8" tall
Two hollow dinner knives 9 1/8"-cannot be stamped

Set has evidence of prior use and age such as surface scratching, a ding or ping
yet retains its elegance and a nice level of shine.

-Lettering, Hand Stamped by hammering each letter individually in a block style font and as such not perfect which is part of the charm.

-Storage pouches four(4) in all. Very simple gray felt silver storage bag to help keep tarnish at bay and minimize being scratched by other silverware.

One for salad forks
One for the dinner forks
One for teaspoons
One for the knives

-I tried show in the photos or point out imperfections of this set so you could see everything clearly. *Please request the available additional photos prior to purchasing.

****Ships with signature confirmation meaning the box will need to be signed for.

These are vintage, evidence of pitting due to previous wear or age and marks made during the hammering process are expected. Spacing and alignment of letters is not exact all which add to their whimsical and charming look. These are perfectly imperfect.
