This chart shows the type of tank which performed signal service at the battle of Cambrai in 1917 and despite their initial success, German artillery and infantry defences exposed the frailties of their armour and the vehicles became mostly ineffective after the first day. They were used again with greater success during the final advance of the British armies in World War One.

This print is in its original clean and crisp double fold. The paper measures 9.5 x 12 inches. Each section of the tank is identified and at the bottom of the plate is text describing the manning of the tank.

1920 Army Tank Chart will be mailed to you in a non-bendable mailer carefully housed in an acid-free archival sleeve.
