This is a Beautiful vintage Blue Swirl Ozark Roadside Pottery Vase, wheel thrown in red clay and coated with blue and white paint instead of glaze, there are touches of pink and aqua in the mix. The vase is fully covered even the base, there is one tiny spot that shows the clay color where the paint did not stick. Clay is dark red. This type of Pottery was made for and sold at Trading Posts during the 20's-60's, Souvenirs.

Am unsure of the exact age of this piece, it is more controlled and lighter weight than the 30's pieces I have had so am guessing 1940-60.

SIZE: 4-1/2" tall x 4" wide across the shoulder of the vase.
CONDITION: excellent, only a pinhead spot on the base where it appears the paint did not adhere, part of the manufacture, not damage.
