This raku fired bowl is teal glazed with copper accent. The handmade raku bowl is designed with goddess figures dancing around the central pentacle(pentagram) and triple moons. Raku is a firing process that take the kiln temperature up to around 1850 degrees in 2 hours. This raku bowl is handmade by artist Diane De Baun. The pentagram is a symbol for the 5 elements: earth, air, fire, water and spirit. The pentacle is an ancient symbol used in different cultures. The Pentacle was found on pottery in the Tigrus Euphrates area dating 4000 years ago. Use in Christian mysticism, kabalah, and pagan religions to name a few.

5 Inches x 1.2 inches deep. Not for food. Rinse in water and dry or let dry.
NOTE: Came out beautiful but the pentacle is off center and that is why it is in the bargain shop.
