I made this bowl on the potters wheel, then painted it with majolica glaze colors to show a woman's face with a big bright smile.

I love her crooked teeth. It looked like a flaw when I first took it out of the kiln, because the mouth melted and slightly shifted during the firing, but I realize there is beauty in these imperfections and they don't stop her from smiling.

The bowl is about 10 inches diameter by 4 inches tall. It can hang on the wall with a wire wrapped around the foot.

I was hit by a car recently and chipped off part of my two front teeth, so I figured it's a good time to list this piece. My smile was looking crooked like the woman's smile on this bowl. She reminds me to be happy even if things seem a little off.
