I am selling these cute little silver spoons individually. I am not certain of their age or maker as the mark is difficult to read. I have not had them tested to find if they are sterling or plated.

The spoons are just shy of 4 inches and weigh .4 ounces each. They conduct cold quickly and stay chilled.

If I was to let my imagination run away with me....

I have found indications these are from the 1700's based on design elements- English Threaded which was popular in the mid 1700's. Also the makers mark is bottom struck, which this makes the mark hard to read.

It is interesting that the one mark appears to read HCO as I did find a silversmith in Switzerland named Hans Conrad Oeri II also of the mid 17th century. The other mark -best guess is 971AL.

I am just a fancy finder and not an expert so I have priced these reasonable for vintage and not rare antique.

Update: Another Etsy member pointed out insead of HCO the characters in the oval could be numeric 800. I was able to find what looks like a good match on Italian Markings in the 1940s.
