This great old tin from the early 20th century was made in England for The Colman's Mustard. Large octagonal shape hinged tin has an orange background with gold and black lithograph that depicts the Windsor castle and on the opposite side a girl with a basket full of fruit. On the both sides there is logo of Trade Mark Bull's Head which is also printed in a larger size on the lid. Two smaller panels read Colman's Mustard, only Gold Medal Paris 1878. On the four smallest panels is printed; Manufacturers to the King of Italy and Manufacturers to the Court of Holland.
The tin is clean inside and free of rust, but outside shows its age, some paint loss, and scratches. There are no dings, or dents, or rust. The hinged lid closes very tightly.
This great Colman's Mustard tin is really neat and would be nice addition to your tin collection.
Measures approx 7 1/8" tall, 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" base (18cm x 13.7cm x 10.5cm).
Made in England.
