Set of three felted dryer balls, hand crafted from local sheep’s wool. Saves you money by reducing your drying time and static! Random colours, and unscented.

You can add a few drops of essential or fragrance oil if you would like to scent them. Simply apply the oil right on the dryer balls. If you are worried about any of the oil transferring onto your clothes, you can allow the oil to dry first, either overnight, or by tossing the balls into the dryer by themselves for a short 15-20 minute cycle. The scent does wear off fairly quickly - you may reapply as frequently as you prefer.

You can browse the full selection of 5mL bottles that we have available here:

Our dryer balls are all slightly different, no two are exactly alike. Kokum (Grandma in Cree) gets her wool fleeces from a local farm, then washes, cards, dyes, and felts the raw wool around the hand-wound yarn cores. The balls each weigh at least 40g (1.4oz) and the smallest is 19 cm (7.5 inches) in circumference, roughly the same size as a tennis ball. If you would like a particular colour or colour combination, please convo or email to see what is available - the balls shown in the photos may not be in stock, but they are all in this similar style.

Very easy to use! Just keep 3 or more of these felted balls in your dryer, and reduce your drying time by an average of 10-15 minutes per load. You will learn with a little experimenting how much drying time you can shave off, depending on the size & heaviness of the load. No additional fabric softener is needed!

I do find that if I overdry the clothes, they will start to get a little static, especially if I have synthetic items like polyester blends mixed in with fabrics that take a bit longer to dry (like cottons or denim). I usually just pull out the fast-drying items earlier on, then continue drying the rest of the load.

This listing is for a set of three random, unscented dryer balls.

Customers frequently ask if they can buy a single ball just to try it, but I have found that one doesn't make as much of a difference as a few do - drying time is reduced by only a few minutes with only one ball.

Single balls do make great toys for babies and pets, though! Convo if you are interested in a single ball as a toy, and I will create a custom listing for you (single balls cost $5 each). They are certainly safe for babies, since they are soft and made from natural wool - and if your babe or puppy slobbers all over them, they are washable! The more rambunctious of our two cats often tries to snag one of my balls out of the dryer when I'm not looking. = )

You are more than welcome to convo us at if you have any questions or comments. We would love to hear from you!
