Spring sale! Was 48, now 25. Vintage corset dirndl in green, red and cobalt blue plaid with ivy print. The corset bodice has a gorgeous sheen and closes at the shoulders with two large pewter buckles. Bodice can be corseted shut to show off your curves. Dirndl zips up the side and has an adorable pewter edelweiss decoration on the skirt (see photograph). The dress could be worn traditionally with a frilly blouse or funked up with some pirate boots. Either way, it would be perfect for the Christmas season. In excellent vintage condition, the dirndl would best fit a modern size extra to extra extra large (1x/2x), but please check the exact measurements to ensure the best fit.

Model is a German size 42/44-US size 12/14 and has a D cup, so the dirndl would have a tighter, sexier fit on the actual wearer.

Blouse not included, but available for purchase here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/55670984/sale-vintage-white-eyelet-dirndl-blouse

Brand: None (no tag)
Bust: 104 cm/41 inches with a little room (can be corseted for a tighter, sexy fit)
Waist: 96 cm/38 inches
Hips: Free, Max. 150 cm/59 inches
Length: 100 cm/39.5 inches
Material: ? bodice has the sheen of satin or silk and skirt has the look and heaviness of wool blend, but I believe both are polyester or polyester cotton blend
Care: Machine wash, lay flat to dry (though I would overall recommend dry cleaning since the actual material is still unclear)
Condition: Excellent vintage condition

How do I know if it will fit? It's important to make sure clothing you buy online fits, but luckily also very easy. To find out if the fit is right, lay pieces from your own wardrobe down flat and take the following measurements as needed:
Bodice: from armpit to armpit
Waist: smallest point at the middle
Hips: largest point at the middle
Shoulders: from arm to arm
Now double the numbers and compare them to what I have listed. If you have any questions or want to double-check any information (i.e. does the piece have any stretch, etc.) please feel free to contact me. Thanks!
