Mini Vase Planter Occupied Japan Doll Figurine Cigarette Or Toothpick Holder Dutch Woman 1940s Oddity

This is a sweet vintage collectible figurine or doll of a Dutch woman.

I'm quite certain this was made to hold cigarettes or perhaps toothpicks.
But, I think that it would make a delightful miniature planter or perhaps a holder for your makeup brushes in the vanity.

Stamped on the bottom it reads Made In Occupied Japan plus someone took a marker and wrote the date of 1945 and a name of the previous owner. Lefty, Ann Crisler.

This is a " Dime Store" type of porcelain and the hand painting is rather crude but she still has a lot of vintage charm.
Her dress has a yellow skirt and orange bodice. Her blouse is blue and her hat is blue and white.

The holder next to her has a windmill and rustic house painted on the front.
I did not find any chips or cracks.

Height approximately 5"
Width about 3 3/4"

I thank you for your interest and invite you to view my other fine vintage items.
I am always happy to combine shipping when it is reasonable to do so.

Please convo me for more information.
