This is a very unique print. The title is "The Price of a Joke." The picture depicts a joke being played on a Native American. Apparently the young pilgrim thought it would be funny to scare the indian with a jack o' lantern, you can see the results. I believe this is from the 1900's-1910's. This is just very different and I think it's really cool. The condition of the print is very good for its age. There is a little foxing at the bottom of the print (check the pictures,) and the print is a little wavy under the glass. The new owner can take it apart and smooth it out, I just believe, if at all possible, in leaving things as they are. The size of the print in the original frame is 11' x 9.5". It still has the old wood and paper backing on the frame. There is no wire to hang it, I kept it on a eisel sitting on a shelf. This was purchased at an estate sale in Kentucky. This would be great displayed in the fall, it's sure to be a conversation piece. Any questions please ask, I will try to answer promptly.
