Late Victorian era deep maroon silk Men's umbrella. Features a lovely shape and great wooden handle. Polan Katz was a coveted maker of parasols and umbrellas during this time.

As is sale - good vintage condition overall. This Victorian gents umbrella in need of some repair, but the bones are all there! Shaft is slightly bent can be easily straightened. The metal frame mechanism is in fine working order, spokes appear to be straight and free of corrosion. All of the tips present and the stoppers along the shaft present and functional. Silk has aprox. 12 small holes and a few areas of discoloration (see photos) and is disconnected in a few areas since photos were taken. The silk has been detached since the photo shoot and will come to you this way to avoid further silk damage.

Parasol features:
36 inches/91 cm long circa 1900 late Victorian unisex parasol.
Rich maroon silk in good condition.
Galath push.
