They are perfect to put in your pockets or your mittens for an extra warmth. I gave them to my kids when they were playing outside on those cold Minnesota days! Also they would work in the barn doing chores and then go riding. They would put them in their back pockets to keep all warm!

To Heat: Microwave for 30 second and then check the temperature, if needed add 15 seconds until the desirable temperature is achieved. They will stay warm for about an hour.

DO NOT WASH - Spot wash and lay flat to dry.

I store mine in the freezer. That way if I need them cold it is ready to go, If I need them heated it is ready in minutes!
