The color of this thermos is amazing! Admittedly the jug has some surface condition problems, but it has such a great look they're easy to overlook. This thermic jug would look great as a decorative piece in a kitchen or bar, or find a creative use for it in your garden.

Condition: Overall corrosion and rust spots on the surface. Inside is in great shape – it appears to be ceramic. The spout works and the lid with rubber gasket is intact. Wood handle is in great shape. Label corners are worn, but overall condition is great for its age.

History: This jug was made in the 1940's and 50's. I believe this style, with the bottom spout is from the mid-1940's.

Size: Measures about 10.5” tall (13” with handle) and 9” in diameter. Opening is 5” in diameter. It weighs just under 7 pounds.

Marking: Marked Champion Thermic Jug For Food and Beverage - Metal Industries Inc - Indianapolis, 7 Indiana. The base is stamped 9B.
