Kia ora! This church is an actual place, erected in 1885 in Rotorua New Zealand. It was moved in 1910 and was consecrated in 1918. St Faiths Church's interior comprises woven and painted wall hangings and decorations. It is most famous for its massive bay window with an incredible by-the-sea view. What makes the window so cool, is the etched Maori Christ, in a traditional Maori cloak, who appears to be walking on water due to clever artistic perspective.

This is one of the main tourist attractions in New Zealand, (Go All Blacks!!) yet we found this original, signed, watercolor at a yard sale in Baltimore. Go figure?!

It's in it's original mid-century picture frame, which does show some wear, but it's all character. It's 5x7, signed by the artist and looks exactly like the church.

Own a vintage, AS-IS, piece of artistic, geographical and religious ephemera. It's an adorable little piece that will add just the right bit of rustic flair to your decor. No returns accepted.
